Discovery Alliance Church is a church plant of Missoula Alliance Church. No, we're not a physical plant that you water, but in a sense, we are a new group of believers in need of God's nourishment. The Apostle Paul wrote to the Colossian church, "Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." This might be the Biblical basis for the term "church plant."

Discovery Alliance Church is not a building or a name. It is a people who gather together on Sunday morning for what has come to be known as "church." But in reality, these believers are the church. "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?"

If we allow God to dwell in us, he will constantly be strengthening our roots, building us up, establishing us... truly planting his church!
